Focus on Your Journey
Meet this month’s cover star Giada Pulcinelli / @giadapj
Congratulations on your FHM Family feature! How do you feel? Thank you so much. It’s truly an honor to be featured. It feels like a celebration of freedom, femininity, and self-expression. I’m proud to be part of a narrative where women own their sensuality without apology. And I’m even prouder to appear in a magazine that has previously celebrated icons like Kim Kardashian, Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, and Emily Ratajkowski.
What is your best physical feature? My legs, they’ve taken me around the world and carry me with confidence wherever I go. People have always told me they’re one of my strongest features, and I’ve learned to embrace that. I could also say my eyes, they speak first, even when I don’t say a word.
What’s one thing people would be surprised to learn about you? People would be surprised about me about the fact I’ve been traveling the world non-stop for the past 10 years. It all started when I became a flight attendant and moved to Shanghai, China. Since then, the sky has become my second home, and today, my life unfolds between Rome, Rio de Janeiro, New York, and Tokyo. My passport tells more stories than my Instagram ever could.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Ten years from now, I’ll be running my own schedule, maybe filming a football show in the morning, flying to Tokyo in the evening, and coming home to a family I’ve built with love. I don’t plan to choose between ambition, adventure, and connection, I want them all.
Outside of modeling, what are some of your passions or projects you’re currently working on? When I’m not in front of the camera, I’m 35,000 feet in the air, literally. As a flight attendant, I get to see the world in motion. I’m also passionate about sports and I’ve already had the chance to co-host a sports show on Città Celeste. That experience lit a fire in me, and now I’m working on turning that spark into something even bigger on screen.
Who inspires you the most, either in modeling or in life in general? 6 In life, Oprah Winfrey inspires me the most. She turned adversity into power, built an empire with grace and intelligence, and used her voice to uplift others. She’s the proof that you don’t need to fit into anyone’s mold to become unforgettable, you just need to own your truth. In terms of beauty and presence, Monica Bellucci has always been my ideal, she embodies timeless femininity, elegance, and strength without ever needing to shout. Two completely different women, both unforgettable.

What message do you hope to send to women who see your feature? I want every woman who sees this to feel empowered, not judged, and to never apologize for embracing her femininity. You can be a mother, a professional, and still feel beautiful, sexy, and confident in your own skin. You can be confident, feminine, and sensual, and still be classy even in lingerie. Sensuality is about self-awareness, presence, and fully owning who you are.
How do you define confidence and sensuality in your own terms? To me, confidence means striving to be the best version of yourself enhancing what you love, but also embracing the flaws that make you unique. Sensuality comes from that balance: knowing who you are and feeling comfortable in your own skin. Today, I believe beauty should be celebrated, not distorted. It’s about highlighting, not hiding.
What has been the biggest lesson you’ve learned since entering the modeling industry? The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to never let anyone else define your worth. In this industry, it’s easy to fall into the trap of comparison but the real power lies in knowing your value, staying true to your essence, and, above all, never giving up.
Do you like taking vacations? Where is your favorite place you have been and where would you like to visit next? I absolutely love going on vacation I actually need it. I believe that every time you come back from a trip, you return slightly changed. Whatever problems you left behind, you face them with a new perspective. I love exploring new cultures, chasing breathtaking views… and yes, partying on the world’s most fun islands. My last non-work trip was to Iceland, and it was a completely new experience for me I joined a group trip without knowing anyone. I’m not the most adventurous person, but I ended up hiking on a glacier and trekking up a volcano. It was wild and unforgettable. I bonded deeply with the group, and to this day, we’re still in touch.

Besides modeling, what keeps you busy? Besides modeling, I work as a flight attendant so I’m always on the move, literally. But I never just pass through a place. I love to live every destination to the fullest. In the last few months alone, I’ve danced at Rio’s Carnival, watched a tango show in Buenos Aires, admired New York City from stunning rooftops, and even visited Harvard while in Boston. When I’m not flying, I also love attending fashion and music events and organizing dinners or aperitifs with friends. I believe life is about collecting memories, not just miles.
If you were stranded on a deserted island with only one accessory, what would it be? Maybe it’s predictable, but definitely my phone. I can’t live without it and let’s be honest, on a deserted island, it might be the only way to survive and post a sunset selfie before the battery dies haha.
What’s next for you any goals, projects, or dreams you’re excited about? I’m chasing moments that feel like growth both in work and in life. I want to see myself on new magazine covers, maybe even hosting a TV show. And I still have so many places to discover Saudi Arabia is on my radar, and so are Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
What advice would you give to aspiring models? My advice? Choose a serious agency that truly sees your potential, and focus on your own journey. In this industry, it’s easy to get lost in comparisons, but the real secret is staying focused on what makes you unique.
