Welcome to FHM, ladies. Tell us a bit about this shoot.
JACINTA: This shoot was such a vibe. Milk Beach in Sydney is one of my favourite hidden gems and it’s the perfect spot to capture that mix of fun and freedom.
MEL: It’s iconic to us because we love the beach – it’s a cool, slightly secluded, spot where you can see both the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The fruit was fun, too, as we’re into health, but we love having a bit of fun with all the different shapes and sizes.
J: It was only natural to bring fruit into the shoot – I’m a Nutritionist, so food and wellness are a big part of my life, but I also love playing with the colour and cheekiness it brings. Healthy living should never feel boring – it’s about balance, creativity and enjoying the moment. Shooting this with Mel made it even more fun because we bounce off each other’s energy and don’t take ourselves too seriously.

How did you feel during the shoot? You both look cool and comfortable.
M: We had a ball doing this shoot!
J: It was one of those shoots where nothing felt forced, and you can see that natural energy come through in the photos. It took me out of my comfort zone, but I felt that made me feel even more confident by the end of the day.
Well, you look stunning. When do you feel sexy?
M: When I’ve got on a cute, little flowy dress for a summer’s day. It makes me feel girly, feminine but also alluring.
J: I feel sexy when I’m glowing from the inside out – always after an ocean swim or a workout, when my skin feels fresh and my energy is high. Confidence is the most attractive thing and that comes from looking after my body and feeling strong, healthy and radiant.

What is your best asset?
J: Physically, my eyes – they tell a story, and I love the power of eye contact. It can be playful, intriguing or disarming all at once, but most importantly it’s how I really connect with people. Otherwise, my energy – I throw myself wholeheartedly into what I do, and that passion and vibrancy leave a lasting impression.
M: Physically, my legs, and personality-wise I’d say my sense of humour.

Give us a little more background info about yourselves.
M: I grew up in Fremantle, WA but have lived in a few different cities in Australia, now calling Sydney home. I love living near the beach, my morning swims, a steak night with a glass of red and listening to punk-rock music. I’m a corporate girlie, a little bit hippy at heart, but have many interests. I study kinesiologist and am a certified Pilates instructor.
J: I grew up in Melbourne and have been lucky to live in a few different cities and countries, each adding a layer to who I am today. I spent years working in fashion, and now as a degree-qualified Nutritionist I love marrying the two worlds – health and style, science and beauty. Sydney is home now and being by the ocean gives me that mix of calm and energy. Whether it’s early swims, creating nourishing recipes or sharing the science behind wellness in a way that feels stylish and approachable, I’ve always been about making healthy living something people can enjoy.

What would people be most surprised to know about you?
J: That I’m a massive hip-hop and jazz fan. I always have music on – it sets the tone for my day, and I love to dance, whether it’s in the kitchen while I’m cooking or getting ready to go out. Music just makes everything feel more alive.
M: I love rock and heavy metal and watching bands.

What do you look for in a man?
M: Someone who is down to earth, playful, funny, emotionally intelligent, adventurous and suppressive.
J: For me, it’s confidence, kindness and a man who genuinely takes care of himself. I’m drawn to someone who is driven but also knows how to switch off and have fun. A good sense of adventure helps, too. I love when someone can keep up with me in and out of the kitchen.
What have you learned about men over the years?
M: Treat them mean to keep them keen.
J: I’ve learned to keep a little mystery and not give everything away at once. Confidence, a sense of fun and knowing your worth goes a long way.

Describe your ideal date.
M: I’m a bit of a foodie, so the way to win my heart is with a delicious dinner at a restaurant I haven’t been to yet.
J: Yes, take me somewhere new, pour a glass of wine and make me laugh. I’m a little old school – chivalry goes a long way and with the right chemistry, the night can lead anywhere.

What’s the weirdest thing someone has sent you via social media?
M: Nothing has been sent, so far, just people asking for photos of my feet.
J: I’ve had someone pointing out that I have big ears – I think they’re perfectly relevant to my head, so I’ll take it!

What’s next for you? Any exciting projects on the horizon you can share with us?
J: I’ve just launched my YouTube channel, Radiance Kitchen with Jacinta, where I share recipes, wellness tips and a peek into my lifestyle. Beyond that, watch this space. I like to keep a little mystery, but let’s just say I’m all about saying yes to opportunities and being spontaneous – the best things often happen that way.
