Welcome to FHM Escapes, an epically curated getaway where travel, creativity and connection meet in paradise, and models enjoy gorgeous features from professional FHM photographers while embracing unforgettable experiences. FHM Escapes recently delivered a luxury editorial retreat in Fiji, bringing together a select group of four models for an immersive five-night, six-day creative experience. The retreat took place at the exclusive Beach Villa Fiji, a premium private estate designed to accommodate luxury stays.
The villa itself offered expansive indoor and outdoor living spaces, featuring multiple large bedrooms, open-plan common areas, ocean-facing views and extensive outdoor zones that allowed for diverse shoot environments. Its scale and layout made it ideal for both individual and group productions, while maintaining privacy and comfort for all participants.
From the moment of arrival, the experience was fully curated. The villa’s private chef provided all meals daily, delivering a tailored dining experience, while dedicated on-site staff ensured seamless operations around the clock, supporting both production and hospitality needs. Each day was structured to balance high-level content production with lifestyle and cultural experiences.
Daily photo and video shoots were conducted across various locations within the villa and surrounding areas, producing editorial-quality imagery and cinematic content. All make-up for the duration of the retreat was professionally executed by Kaylah Suzanne from Aesthetic Society, ensuring a consistent, polished aesthetic across all shoots. Hair styling for the group shoot was completed by Totoka Hair & Beauty, adding a refined finish to the collective visuals.
The retreat began with a relaxed introduction to the environment, including a guided morning walk on the third day that allowed the models to settle into the natural surroundings. On the second day, the group participated in a scenic hike, integrating Fiji’s landscape into both the experience and the visual storytelling.
As the retreat progressed, activities were layered into the schedule to enhance both content variety and overall experience. On the fourth day, the group took part in a private yoga session, creating a wellness-focused segment within the production. That same day, the villa hosted a traditional Fijian cultural dance performance, offering an authentic cultural moment that enriched the retreat beyond the creative scope.
On the fifth day, the group embarked on a safari tour, adding an adventurous element to the itinerary. During this experience, the models were introduced to traditional kava, providing a cultural touchpoint that connected them more deeply with local customs.
Throughout the retreat, the combination of structured production, luxury accommodation, and curated experiences resulted in a highly efficient and creatively rewarding environment. The balance between editorial output and lifestyle immersion allowed each model to produce a diverse portfolio while enjoying a premium, fully managed experience.
