There’s simply no stopping this full-time healthcare worker, content creator, stunning model and Miss Universe Australia finalist…
Hey Sophie, welcome to FHM Australia and congratulations on your first cover. How do you feel?
Thank you! I’m so excited to be featured. It’s been such a fun experience from start to finish, and I’m really grateful to have worked with such an incredible team. Seeing the final images come together has been pretty surreal.
What did you love most about this photo shoot?
Shooting at Caves Beach [near Newcastle in NSW] during sunset made the whole experience so special. The light was incredible, the location was stunning, and there was such a relaxed energy on set. Being by the ocean always feels like home to me, so it was the perfect environment to have fun, be creative and let everything come naturally.

Well, you look stunning. What is your best asset?
Thank you! Physically, I’d probably say my smile – it’s the feature people seem to notice first. Beyond that, I’d say my resilience. I’ve learnt that life rarely goes exactly to plan, but every challenge teaches you something. I’m proud of how I’ve learnt to adapt, keep growing and make the most of every opportunity.
When do you feel sexy?
When I feel completely comfortable in my own skin. It’s not about wearing a particular outfit – it’s about confidence, feeling healthy and being happy with who I am. I think that’s when people are at their most attractive.

How do you define confidence and sensuality?
Confidence is backing yourself without needing anyone else’s approval. Sensuality is about embracing your femininity in a way that feels authentic. Neither is about seeking attention – they come from genuinely feeling comfortable in yourself.
Give us a little more background info about yourself and your brief life story so far.
I grew up in the small regional town of Brandon in North Queensland before moving to Newcastle in NSW to study Diagnostic Radiography. I now work full-time as a diagnostic radiographer while also pursuing modelling and content creation. I’ve always loved stepping outside my comfort zone, whether that’s through travel, surfing, competing in Miss Universe Australia or saying yes to new opportunities. Long term, I’m passionate about women’s health and hope to use my platform to inspire young women to believe in themselves and chase opportunities, no matter where they come from.

What would people be most surprised to know about you?
Most people know me through modelling or social media, so they’re often surprised to learn I work in healthcare.
I love having two completely different careers because they challenge me in different ways and keep life interesting.
Why did you choose diagnostic radiography as a career?
I’ve always wanted a career where I could make a genuine difference in people’s lives and healthcare gives me that opportunity every day. I love that my job combines science, technology and patient care, and that no two days are ever the same.

How did you get into modelling?
It happened quite naturally. I started modelling while I was at university, building my portfolio through local shoots before working with brands and creating content online. Competing in Miss Universe Australia opened even more opportunities and it’s continued to grow from there.
What’s been your career highlight so far?
Representing NSW in Miss Universe Australia has definitely been one of the biggest highlights. It challenged me, helped me grow in confidence and introduced me to some incredible women. Being featured in FHM Australia is another milestone I’m really proud of.

When you’re not working, on social media or posing for FHM, what else would we find you doing?
Probably at the beach. I love surfing, swimming, going for coastal walks or planning my next overseas trip. If I’m not outdoors, you’ll usually find me in the gym or spending time with family and friends.
What are the pros and cons of social media?
The biggest positive is the opportunities and connections it creates. It’s introduced me to incredible people and opened doors I never expected. The downside is that it’s easy to compare yourself to other people’s highlights. It’s important to remember that social media only shows a small part of someone’s life.

Would you ever date one of your Instagram followers?
If we met naturally and there was a genuine connection, absolutely. Whether someone follows me on Instagram isn’t what matters – it’s the kind of person they are.
What do you look for in a man?
Someone who is kind, ambitious, confident without being arrogant and can make me laugh. I love someone who’s adventurous, enjoys being outdoors and isn’t afraid to try new things.

How can a man win you over?
Make me laugh, be genuine and be consistent. Thoughtful effort means far more than grand gestures, and confidence is attractive when it’s backed by kindness.
Got any hidden talents?
I grew up doing musical theatre, so singing is probably something people don’t expect. I also have a pretty competitive streak – whether it’s sport, travelling or learning something new, I always like to challenge myself.

What’s next for you? Any exciting upcoming projects you can share with us?
I’m excited to keep growing both my careers as a diagnostic radiographer and model. I’d love to work with more international brands, travel to new places and continue using my platform to advocate for women’s health while encouraging young women to chase opportunities outside their comfort zones.
