Meet the recently crowned 2026 FHM Cover Model, TIAHLI POELING-OER…
Congrats on winning the 2026 FHM Cover Model competition, Tiahli. How’d you feel?
I was over the moon. I woke up to a notification, and I was just so excited and emotional. I immediately told my close friends and family – this felt really personal for me.
Well, welcome to FHM. Tell us a bit about your photo shoot.
Thank you. I had the opportunity to shoot in a Royal Castle in Bückeburg, Germany last month – think royalty, classy and sexy. It was an experience like no other.
Are there any other funny anecdotes you can share about this shoot?
While we were filming in one of the rooms in the castle, a group of German workers accidentally walked in. They were completely shocked, apologising, covering their eyes and quickly turned around once they realised that they had walked straight into our shoot, but I’m sure it made their day.

No doubt it did. You look great. When do you feel sexy?
I feel the sexiest when I feel fully in my element – confident, creative, feminine and genuinely happy. It’s never just about how I look, it’s the energy I’m in. When I’m taking care of myself, chasing what excites me and feeling present in the moment, that’s when I feel the most attractive.
What is your best asset?
Physically, probably my long legs. Otherwise, I’d say my energy is my best asset – people tend to remember how I make them feel.
Give us a little more background about yourself and your life story so far.
I’m from Queensland and I’ve been modelling since my early teens, so it’s been a part of my life for over a decade now. My journey hasn’t been a straight line. I’ve faced plenty of setbacks along the way, but I’ve always been someone who keeps showing up and chases big goals. I’m also an entrepreneur, but right now I’m pivoting – we love a good change up. I’m passionate about fitness – I’m a fully qualified personal trainer – travel, personal growth and creating content.
I love pushing myself outside my comfort zone and most recently I was a state finalist for Miss Universe Australia. Shooting for FHM in a castle in Germany is definitely one of those surreal moments that reminds me why I never give up doing what I do, it’s my passion.

What would people be most surprised to know about you?
Probably that I’m far more driven than people expect. What looks spontaneous from the outside is usually the result of a lot of persistence, hard work and refusing to give up on myself.
How would you describe yourself in five words?
Energetic, ambitious, resilient, curious, genuine.
What would you do if you weren’t modelling?
I’d probably still be doing something creative – whether that’s content creation, media, hosting or building a business. I love connecting and meeting genuinely great people, telling stories and putting myself out there, so I’d always find a way to be in a creative space.

What have you learned about men over the years?
A good sense of humour will get you a lot further than a six-pack.
What’s one thing men should always know about women?
A woman will never forget how you made her feel.
What do you look for in a man?
A great sense of humour, confidence without arrogance, ambition and consistency. If you can make me laugh and keep your word, you’re already ahead of the game.
Describe your ideal date.
A sunset drink, great conversation, plenty of laughs and a little spontaneity. The best dates aren’t about where you are, they’re about how effortlessly you connect.

What can we get you at the bar?
I’ll take an Amaretto Sour any day.
Got a hangover cure?
Hydration, a good breakfast and pretending I’ll never drink again.
What’s your best hidden talent?
Reading people. It’s a blessing and a curse. I can usually tell exactly what’s going on before anyone says a word.

What’s the weirdest thing someone has sent you via social media?
I’ve had more marriage proposals through my DMs than in real life.
What’s next for you? Any exciting projects on the horizon you can share with us?
I like to move in silence and let success make the noise. You’ll have to watch and find out – never a dull moment.
Finally, where would you like to be in five years?
I’d love to have established myself in both modelling and media, be travelling regularly for work and be saying yes to opportunities I once only dreamed about.
