Caroline Jaquish

Strong, driven and unstoppable

So good to have you join the FHM family. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Being featured in FHM feels like such a dream come true. It is something I’ve quietly hoped for over the years. I still can’t believe it’s real. I come from a small agricultural town in California’s Central Valley, where life was simple and community meant everything. I’ve really manifested the girl next door gone global vibe. Living in places like Sacramento and Los Angeles has been such an adventure; opening my eyes to so many new experiences, people, and possibilities. Modelling is still pretty new to me I only started about two years ago but it’s already taken me places I never imagined. I am so grateful for every step of this journey and for all the love and support that helped me get here.

Which three words best describe you?
People close to me would probably describe me as playful, dreamy and a tease. I like to bring a little whimsy into everything I do, especially photo shoots. My eyes? Total secret-keepers. I love using them to send little hidden messages, just between me and you shh, don’t tell. Of course, I’ve got big dreams; I’ve practically spent my whole life daydreaming. Growing up super shy and a bit withdrawn, I spent a lot of time exploring the world from within my own mind. It is like my personal playground where I can dive into books, get lost in music, or escape into anything that sparks my imagination.

Who is your celebrity crush?
My celebrity crush? Probably Steven Tyler from Aerosmith or maybe his daughter Liv. Honestly, it’s a toss-up. I clearly have a thing for iconic genes haha.

Three things that you can’t go a day without?
I am a devout Catholic, so I honestly couldn’t go a day without reading my daily devotional. It’s my little moment of peace that keeps me grounded and helps my whole day flow with a sense of calm. Other than that, I am really just a simple girl at heart. Give me some perfectly crispy bacon in the morning and my favourite bikini to soak up the sunshine, and I’m one happy girl.

What is the biggest misconception people have about you?
So many folks think I am mean or unapproachable but it’s really the opposite! Don’t get the sultry confused with snarky. I love connecting with different people from different walks of life and helping others when I can. I have a strong love for service and I suppose that started when I worked in hospice care. The prettiest part of a woman is her heart.

How would you describe your personal style, and how has it evolved ov?
My style is all about finding that sweet spot between sexy and classy – Monica Belluci is my ultimate style icon. I’m all for flaunting my curves as long as a bit of mystery remains. I’ve made some major strides since my days of rocking overalls and carrying reptiles around as accessories. Those summers at my family’s off-the-grid cabin made me a bit of a tomboy, but now I’m all about owning my femininity in a cute dress and seriously tall stilettos.

What’s on your bucket list of things you want to accomplish or experience?
My dream is winning the title of Miss Swimsuit USA International. I’ve been competing in pageants for a while now, and actually, some of these photos were taken at that same pageant last year where I won “Miss Photogenic”. Now my sights are set on the crown to match. For my modelling career, I hope to grace more covers of magazines around the world, including FHM and possibly sign with a dream agency.

What are some must-haves in your wardrobe right now?
Ooh. This one is tough. Probably a structured leather blazer to wear over something sexier like a corset or bustier. There’s nothing like a leather and lace combo.

What is your favourite body part on you and him?
I already touched on this earlier but I really love my eyes. Not because there is anything exotic or special even, I feel like a nice pair of eyes comes down to how a person uses them to show how there feeling. Eye contact for me is necessary! My favourite part of him would have to be his arms. I am partial to big muscles. I want to feel safe and taken care of.

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
The spirit animal may be a majestic wild mustang, but habits align more with a raccoon after a midnight snack.

What advice would you give to all women regarding love and relationships?
I’ve actually been married for a couple of years and my best advice is to keep a man happy is to make him feel needed. It is that simple. Men do not want a woman who doesn’t need them the same way women don’t desire a man who doesn’t want them. If you are looking for love, make sure you don’t take on that hyper-independent attitude because let’s face it, someone who can do it all on their own gives off major single forever vibes.

In what ways do you use your platform to inspire or influence others?
Lately, I’ve been trying to show a more real and authentic version of myself. I’ve ditched the heavy smokey eye you see in most of these photos and have gone makeup-free in a few of my recent posts on Instagram. It’s crucial for everyone, especially younger generations, to understand that the flawless images dominating social media are often curated and not a reflection of reality. Everyone experiences moments of vulnerability, challenges, and ‘bad days,’ and that’s perfectly okay. This year, the focus is on radiating true confidence and inner beauty by simply being one’s authentic self. The most empowering result? New and exciting modelling opportunities have emerged for me, a testament to the fact that people are embracing me for who I truly am.

Thanks so much for your time. Where can our readers follow you on socials to stay updated on what you’re up to?
I am most active on Instagram @carolinejaquish but I post more vulnerable stuff on Facebook if you want to search for me there as well. I have so many more exciting projects coming up and cannot wait to share that with yall! Thank you FHM for giving me a voice behind my photos it has been real talking with you. ■
