Welcome to FHM and congrats on your cover, Ella. How do you feel?
I feel amazing and very grateful. I’m honoured to be part of this magazine and this Aussie family. I moved to Australia over a year ago and it feels like home. I’m looking forward to creating more and more shoots from here.

What do you love most about this photo shoot?
I love that it’s very ’90s Baywatch style, sexy and fun. This shoot is simple and raw, yet the results are very iconic. The little red bikini and golden tan is powerful and beautiful, and I love that we shot on the beach. Just being near the ocean and surrounding environment really brings strength, energy and spirituality. It was the perfect day.
Well, you look stunning. When do you feel sexy?
I feel sexy when I am strong. I workout daily, eat healthily and generally take care of myself. Being and feeling sexy comes from within, it can take time to learn and understand the values of self-love and realise how unique you are.

Tell us more about yourself and brief life story so far.
I was born and grew up in Israel. I started modelling in Tel Aviv and it wasn’t long before I moved onto modelling globally. I did my two-year military service at 18; I opted to complete this in the Air Force sector which was an amazing experience. After leaving I decided to continue pushing myself and joined the reality show Survivor (Israel) and made it to the final. It was here I learned a lot about myself. I did a lot of campaigns around the world, moved to America and started to push my acting career. I was in an acting course I loved so much and went to auditions, movie premieres and red-carpet events while continuing modelling.

How long have you been modelling?
Since I was 14. My mum really pushed me to do it and without her I wouldn’t be where I am today. She saw my passion for the industry and fully supported me – she even flew with me to castings in Europe and spent months with me in Milan. She is my biggest supporter and I’m forever grateful for her. I’m so lucky to have a career that allows me to work and travel all around the world – I’ve visited some amazing places and had some fantastic experiences thanks to this job.

What would people be most surprised to know about you?
People are generally surprised in my determination and drive; they’re usually taken aback that I am so badass!
What is your best asset?
People always comment on my positivity and love for life. I’m so happy being in Australia enjoying the gorgeous country, its people, the culture, the food, the nature, all the animals, beaches and views. I love nature, I go for nice walks and adore seeing animals in their own habitat, it keeps me connected and grounded.
What do you look for in a man?
I look for someone who will give me energy when I’m around him, who allows me to feel comfortable within myself and who I feel safe with. Ideally, he would have with similar values to me, be smart, have a good sense of humour and can make me laugh. Oh, and of course be romantic – that’s important. I’m a big romantic!
How can a man win his way to your heart?
A man wins his way to my heart when he is being his true self – honesty is the key. Other qualities I really like are loyalty, ambition, hardworking, a family man and loving. I like a man who takes care of himself, and I’m attracted to men who are motivated and confident yet are not afraid to show their softer side.
What have you learnt about men over the years?
I have learnt that a man who truly loves a woman will do anything for her and will bring her the moon and the stars.
What’s one thing men should always know about women?
Listen to your lady. Most women generally share their feelings and worries, so listen to what they say and ask questions. I find this is a major key to a successful relationship.
What’s next for you? Any exciting projects on the horizon you can share with us?
Right now I’m in Munich and heading to Austria to shoot a campaign in the snow for Hello Kitty and have some other amazing opportunities coming up, so stay tuned.
